@danny156wc You obviously have a problem with films and box office gross..... and that is OK. Forget Tom Hanks and Forget Jennifer Aniston. What if it was made into a 3 part series??? Just hear me out. Robe Lowe can replace Tom, and Lindsey Lohan will now be his PA (good actress given the chance). Same story line but with a twist, Bonnie Hunt goes to the wtc to confront Rob and then BAAMMMM!!! A plane crashes into the tower. The twist this time is that Rob is badly hurt......

I find it amusing when people only post clips that suggest an explosion compared to a collapse when the witnesses didn't have their wits about them in the heat of the moment. Educate yourself before using a confused witnesses as your scientific evidence.

@duttybg (which the name speaks for itself), I don't want to hear anymore comments that lack of something many people would find disturbing - compassion. And this form of trying to express compassion with visual effects, actors performing, and anything involving production of a motion picture is dehumanizing. I believe in keeping the focus on the compassion on the reality of it, and towards the people who truly suffered. Why don't you donate money or something?

What is the very nature of your feeling sensationalized about the movie - which is very far from the very point and purpose? Are you that seduced by film that you have become desensitized? And the things that happened in the Titanic are horrifying and tragic. It is a class example of condemning people of lower social classes to their deaths - a regression towards the steps of upholding humanity for all.
