What is that? about 350 amps?

...now if he can just get it up to 88mph while generating 1.21 Jigawatts of power....!

@tobyk321: Don't pay attention to OH2FFY, he doesn't speak for the Ham community. Actually, I like ur set-up. You could power a nice 1.5kW HF (Ham, NOT CB) Amp, or a 5kW Inverter with that set-up! How much current is available at idle?

@tobyk321: Seriously though, I would consider, at a minimum, using an 8-rib serpentine belt, but 10 ribs would be better. I realize this would mean changing all the pulleys, but it might be worth it. I just completed some tests of a VERY high-power PM Alternator (like 28kW), and we burnt up lots of 8-ribbers at maximum power. Had to move to a ten-rib belt. Worked marginally better. 12-rib would be better. Just a thought. Great set-up, though.

Nice BAA (that's BIG-ASS Alternator) set-up! Whatcha' powering- a flux-capacitor?? (LOL)

you could run a hydrogen setup from that one lol
-
its probably for subs or another source of high amp load

cool

Thanks for the laughs.
Hmm , I think you would have to be an American CB'er with a tiny pecker to see the point of this.
