  • I'd say the answer to his question is intelligence combined with ambition, curiosity, and perhaps most importantly trade. I'm not saying the others didn't have any intelligence but without ambition it doesn't get you farther than basic survival. Geography and climate play a huge role in trade and whether or not survival requires more ingenuity in some places in order to survive. Its disingenuous to act like everyone is equal everywhere and that they have evolved at exactly the same rate.
