Actually a lot of people accuse us of cheating in 1962, well, not us exatly, but mistakes made by refs that ended up deciding 2 or 3 matches for us.
Obviously that doesn't get much said in Brazil, but mayne people who watched it would tell you if you asked

Did you guys notice how he just laughs when the ref gives the foul? He was laughing and saying "from there it's a sure goal", and in fact, in average, Zico used to score 8.5 in every 10 free-kicks from close range, fouling a side with him close to the box was the same as a penalty kick

@ls12123 Great comment my Brazilian friend.We are trying our best to produce players again here.But it is not as easy as it once was.In days gone bye kids were aloud to play in the streets.And now parents do not want them to.As its a different place now,with evil scum roaming the streets.Or maybe its more high lighted in the media.And they have always been out there.Kids have to much other things like computers to now.They should be playing on on X box,but for teams.We have a few prospects on up

@jambodave85 Scotland was definately not "crap" I would say they were better than in 78 and 86 and though perhaps made some bad mistakes on defense though I would not say in this game but more agaisnt New Zealand in giving up those two goals which they really should have avoided but over all it was a good team with a good offense,

@jambodave85 I´m brazilian and I remember clearly of this scottish side. They were our hardest rivals in the group. Archibald, Jordan, Dalglish (absolutely fantastic, way better than Serginho, could easily play for us), the great Souness was an emperor in the midfield.......but Brazil was just magic in this match and these goals send Scotland back home too early. It was unfair, they were better than the soviets. Sorry about my english
