As the principals displayed a cold shoulder, it is emerging that a fresh contest is in the works for the yet to filled position of leader of government business in parliament. A meeting called on Tuesday by the two principals failed to resolve the issue, leaving it open to debate. That position is currently being held by speaker Marende. Brenda Mulinya reports.

  • media should stop this stupidity, and build the nation , not divide it along tribal lines, standard , you know what i am talking about, even in very important functions like parliament state opening your cameras and attention is just how Ruto , sits, lough, walk, who he greets, and talks to, did Raila eat, or went without food, how did Raila look, as if you now become mind readers, wake up media.

  • The media is doing very shady job as far as i am concern, some of them spend most of their time only concentrating on ranglings within ODM, every day standard head line Ruto ,Raila, trying to mislead Ruto to make him believe he is very influential or powerful in kenya, we have seen such come and go, Biwot and Murungaru were in such positions remember,Kenya does not only revolves around Ruto and Raila

  • Very interesting post dude!

  • wao thats crazy, why do the kenyans idolise restlessness.lets concentrate on issues that pertain to common mwananchi, stop the bull crap about prliamentarians

  • touche! remeny....

  • brenda mlinya u look mwah...

  • from office of the president to parliament is merely 200 metres..yet this guys have to take their fuel guzzlers..instead of walkin n coming back for them later..gordon brown walks who r kibaki n raila not to?common sense

  • somebody explain to me how a man inside a limo needs security men running on foot.what kind of security do they offer puffing after a speedin car??

  • For the umpteenth time... the case is made for Alternative Media and the subsequent 'common mwananchi' centered discourse! It is in contrast to the interest of Mainstream Media to articulate issues with the interests of wananchi at the core... a challenge that sadly isn't exclusive to Kenya :(

  • This leader of government business doesn't warrant any covering. As far as I am concerned, there is no crisis in parliament and the speaker is doing a good job with the position. The media in Kenya is so petty and fuels these shadow boxing bouts by politicians and makes Kenyans to beleive artificial tribal and party differences. Talk about corruption until the last head roll, job creation, poverty eradication, etc and spare us the LGB crap!

  • Mbona hii interview ni waluhya tu?

  • great annalysis Brenda
