About open homosexuality in the military, I understand how that would make straight individuals uncomfortable, however, I don't think that they would have to fear getting hit on by homosexuals, its not like gay people go hitting on every guy they see. About President Obama's leading abilities in regards to the military, I understand that he may not fully understand military lifestyle and traditions, however, I do believe he is competent enough to critically analyze large scale operations .

This is not about the guy on the street, this is about close proximites in the military. These are soldiers & ranking officers opinions, not ours. Since it is them & not us living in those conditions, I would think their opinions are the ones who matter. With no military experience whatsoever, most soldiers do not have faith in Obama. Once again, their words, not ours. If we were in the military, maybe we could understand where they were coming from.
