Just when you thought Obama and Clinton couldn't get any more hypocritical...

When it comes to lecturing other countries about democracy, the right of peaceful protest and freedom of assembly, the hypocrisy of Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton has no limits.

The state repression, mass arrests and police brutality shown in this short film are not scenes from Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria or Iran, but from the United States, where the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement is sweeping the country. The protesters have taken to the streets to demand -- in Obama's own words about Libya -- "their universal rights and a government that is accountable to them and responsive to their aspirations."

Among the OWS demands are:
* End the wars that have cost America over one trillion dollars in the last ten years;
* Cut the military budget which in 2010 will be $900bn;
* Bring the troops home now;
*Tax the rich and the corporations instead of cutting social security provision;
* Protect workers rights, create jobs and raise wages.

Well, Obama said he was a community organizer. Guess what? He said he would be transparent too. And he has been, transparently serving Wall St and the forces of greed. So thanks, Prof. Obama, you have given the students you betrayed (and continue to betray) an education they weren't getting in college.

Well, us conservatives tried to warn you that Obama had no record and were completely unvetted, but y'all acted like starry-eyed, crazed idol worshippers who couldn't WAIT to vote for him. So I say y'all got completely what you deserved. It's just a pity the rest of us will have to suffer Obama's abysmal failure of a presidency, too.

It's important not to make OWS about police brutality. Police brutality is a local instrument of the power OWS is confronting. Keep the focus on what the power does to America, not what it does to protestors.
