Recently, I was at City Hall early in the morning and chanced upon a young homeless couple who were just waking up from sleeping on the concrete in Nathan Phillips Square. I approached them and asked if they would like to speak on camera about what life is like for them as a young homeless couple.. They agreed and What It's Like To Be Homeless is the resultant film I produced from this incredibly revealing conversation. Anyone who wonders how homeless people survive or what they feel or how they become homeless in the first place would benefit from viewing this amazing exposé.

  • To the fellow being interviewed: Resorting to saying "f-ing this and f-ing that, and you a-hole" when you have a valid point is disempowering because when there is real truth in what you say, you have a chance to make a person change their mind or at least seriously question a position they take. But as soon as you go on the offensive and resort to name calling, the other person's defenses go up and your message will be discounted from the distraction created. Go Ronzig! :)

  • @happyquails I agree that the use of profanity does not help the cause, but you have to take into account the fact the he was limited by negligible education and a lifetime of living in an environment where profanity is in common usage. All in all, I have to commend him for his insights and thoughtfulness when faced with such limitations.

  • How doesn't this have more views, this really puts things in perspective. Be thankful for everything you have because it could be gone tommorow

  • @taliefromcali08 You may like to watch When the Middle Class becomes Homeless which you'll find on my page.

I produced it at the same time as I did this one.
