Chris Torch interviewed about arts and interculture

Chris Torch was one of two keynote speakers at a seminar in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 19 January 2009, where this video was filmed. 140 CEOs, directors and employees from the cultural sector in Denmark attended the seminar which was entitled: 'Arts and interculture: next practice'.

Chris Torch is artistic director at Intercult, a Swedish production and resource institution focused on intercultural performing arts.

Chris Torch plays a role in the development of cultural policy, in Sweden and in Europe. He lectures regularly and leads workshops in strategy. He currently serves as Vice-President for Culture Action Europe (The European Forum for Arts & Heritage). He is also on the Board of Directors for culturebase.net, a european consortium maintaining an online database for World Artists and is an active member of the Steering Committee for the Civil Society Platform for Intercultural Dialogue, known as the Rainbow Platform.
