Blade Runner Love Theme

My first attempt at recording a home piano session on video. Here it is - warts, more warts and all the other warts. I think I breathed twice during the entire piece - what my last piano teacher called my "suffocatissimo" style. I may re upload a better version if mood and technique permit :-)

The piano is a regular upright MIDI-retrofitted, and I'm using the sustain to generate a sweep to kinda replicate some of Vangelis' keyboard effects over the acoustic piano. I've recorded this on my old digital camera so the audio is barely passable.

Although I'm playing from a beautifully notated score, unfortunately it is not available for distribution. If this situation changes I will advise where and when it may be obtained.

This is just beautiful & you have played the music exceptionally well ! I had a dog named Blade Runner he was an Alaskan Malamute he lived until he was 12 1/2 . Everytime I hear this piece I immediately think of him & to see your comfy friend adoring the music is beautiful. Thank you for sharing with others.

Absolutely gorgeous. The music in that movie is just amazing, combined with the imagery. I just watched the Final Cut tonight (first time seeing the movie in forever), and that whole scene in the apartment just had me in awe. The music is amazing.
