For those new to Straight and Safety Razor Wet Shaving, Here is a description of how it's done:
STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVING. HOW TO PERFORM A shave using a Straight Razor, Badger Brush, and Shaving Cream or Soap From a Tub.
A) Shower with Hot Water & Wash Beard with Soap
B) Soak Badger Brush in Cup of Hot Water for 2 Minutes
C) Fill Sink with Hot Water
D) Apply shaving cream to Tips of Badger Brush
E) Mix lather from a tub or tube in a bowl
F) Apply Hot Water to Beard/Do Not Dry Off
G) Apply Shaving Cream or Shaving Soap to Beard
H) Very Gently apply the razor to your face at a 30 degree angle.
1) First Pass Straight Down With The Grain
2) Second Pass From Ear to Nose Across The Grain
3) Third Pass: From Nose to Ear with a Slight Upward Motion.
Or, if you prefer/South to North against the grain
4) Rinse with Hot then Cold Water.
5) Apply Your Favorite After Shave Lotion or Cream/Preferably Alcohol Free.
6) Now You're Ready to Conquer the World!!!!!

@geofatboy Another great video. I shave with the Feather razor and find Feather blades to be perfect to shave with for me personally. I find the razor nice and mild on the face. I purchased it after watching your shaving demo video on it. An expensive razor, but definitely my favourite to shave with. I you haven't got this soap already I recommend getting yourself Tabac Shaving Soap, made in Germany. I have many creams and soaps, but recently purchased this and I find it to be the best to shave

Let me add, I do always get bbs smooth shaves with the slant, but would like to find another razor that's gives close shave( running hand against grain and not feel any stubble) yet comfortable. Thanks and sorry for triple post.

If you want to get aggressive, go with the Muhle R41...

It definitely gets the job done and tougher than the slant in my opinion!

@UltraCruiser84 for my personal taste the soap tabac is really good, however for me it is no one of my favorite soaps, I love everything about Proraso, anyway I'm looking for a French soap called "martin de Candre "is a French soap and I seeing spoken highly of it and seen according to the Internet, provides a very pleasant aroma and has a long duration (2 years or less) greetings
