Unibody Macbook DVD eject sound

I never had slot-loading drive in any laptop, but my Car-Audio is 100% noisless, compared to this :) I hope that is normal.

(The sound is actually much softer, than what my phone was able to record :) )

That's perfectly normal. My MacBook Pro sounds like that too. So does every MBP or unibody MB i've ever used...

Do they all so this??? This is the only flaw besides the usb distance that I've seen on the MacBook Pro. That mess is loud!!!

Actually I'm quite scared by the sound that it makes when I insert the disc. Never hear those sound before... I afraid the superdrive and the disc would destroy... lol...

Yes, mine is doing that noise too.

But it's nromal cause of the Drive as such little...

Actually it does sound a lit like the CD drive on my car... but I drive an American car so that might explain the noise. LOL!
