Samhain Holiday & Reading Updates

My plans for Samhain:
-Cast Circle
-Prayer offering for Ancestor
-Prosperity Pumpkin Spell

My 3 questions:
1. How did you celebrate Samhain?

2. What should I do a week prior Samhain?

3. Have you had any supernatural encounter such as receiving messages from ancestors etc.,?Anything special that has happened to you on this special holiday?

im not sure what im going to do this samhain i think i will be doing an in depth meditation. and nope there is nothing really you need to do to prepare that i know of. i have not tried to contact the dead but i shall at some point in time, there is noone i need to talk to that is dead at the moment :p. your plans sound great and i hope all goes well, you will have to let us know how it goes, happy samhain )O(

I have that book! :) I should take a look at it later and refresh my memory.. anyhow.. for Samhain I want to do some divinations! That'll be fun! ^-^ Tarot, runes, skrying.. I also want to take some quiet time to just think about my deceased. Last year I carved out a turnip and two apples and used them as candle holders! (use a coaster! lol) I carved out a pumpkin this year and put some oil in it.. I stuck it on my alter and, after a couple days it stunk bad! I don't recommend that! XD

OH I'd love to get that book!! I have autumn equinox by ellen Dugan and it is great too! Thank you for sharing. I love to hear you! I love your vids. I will be doing a lot with candles. I usually do anyhow, but I'll probably say a sort of new year blessing. I usually prepare more, but this year it seems so much is happening. My son just got out of the hospital w/a severe concussion & heart issues. I may say a blessing to those who have passed. Sort of like a message acknowledging them.

lol yes it can be spooky. i have a visulization meditation thing where you visit the land of the dead and go hang out with the past folk lmao, im not gona try that one for a while :p

First, I will prepare dinner for my boyfriend and I. Also we are going to place photos of our departed loved ones with a small plate of offerings. I'm going to make soul cake for the offerings. Light a white candle during this feast. Then I will be doing a divination using scrying mirror, pendulum, and my Spiritboard. I'll be contacting the spirits that I welcome. Before I do all this, I will cast the circle and invite the good spirits, place a rune outside to keep the bad ones out.
