@66vette509 Here in San Diego 91X use to play whatever we requested, they played B-sides all the time :) Maybe wherever you grew up, had the same type of radio play?!

Nigel John Taylor= the man who inspired me to learn how to play bass guitar (even though I will need to start all over again because I haven't plaied for ages...)

Great post, thanks bsidebaby! Everything I find says this was a b-side of GOF, but I distinctly remember listening to it in my car while cruising around back in the mid-80's. Pretty sure I didn't have the means to record from LP to cassette back then??

This is too great of a song to not be mainstream!!! Why, oh why was it only a B-side!? Simply outrageous!!!
Duran Duran is utterly amazing in my opinion :D Keep making great music and I can't wait to see you in concert soon!!!!!

@MisAnnThorpe To tell you the truth sometimes I´ve thought Duran Duran would sound better if all the songs were instrumentals, not that I don´t like Simon Le Bon´s singing, which is flawless. When I listen to Duran Duran I pay more attention to the bass and synth sounds rather than the voice

@birddogbull agree

Rhodes was talented in creativity! Maybe not in technicalities, but that's what a lot of musicians these days don't get. Creativity can outweigh all the technical crap in many ways. The same thing that made Pink Floyd HUGE!
This song is so catchy.

If John Taylor were ugly, he'd get the respect he deserves as a bass player..
