Contradictory to your statements it shows many Marathi people have given a verdict on You Tube that they have liked the movie immensely, so you cannot talk about other people.There is a difference between 'Good movie and 'Bad' movie and from the number of awards it has received,there is no doubt this is a good one...and what ever the movie might be,your language certainly shows what is 'Vulgar' ,thanks for that because Marathi people certainly think these words as 'Vulgar'.

@rohitlele456 Theres a separate genre for this kind of films its called "documentary" and .Also documentaries do not charge a ticket to anyone who wants to watch it. This movie is like selling "dogshit" instead of tooth paste, because tooth paste dont appear to work. As far as your saying on vulgarity goes, tis not true, you pulled it out of your pervert arse. Vulgarity is defined by society, and marathi people WILL consider this vulgar.it has nothing to do with intellect or other subtleties.

@MichToJoshya this is very serious movie on plight of downtrodden community called Devdasis....the song is part of the story to state the relationship between the girl and a 'Jogtya' who is compelled to wear saris by marrying to GOD.

This is not a vulgur but a very serious movie on the exploitation of the people who are supposedly wedded to God and are exploited by the societ...this is a real real story....these people cannot live a normal life..this movie tries to show how both of these guys rebel against this ugly tradition...which is a good scenario as the lives of these guys usually have a tragic end...The Direction by Rajiv Patil is simply SUPERB so is the acting by Mukta Barve and Upendra Limaye!
