O` my heart is heavy and my spirit wrougt within me, for I know that the end is so very near, yet the world goes about in a state of slumber and confusion. The Churches are not preaching the truth, most of the preachers and teachers are asleep, having been decieved by the things of this world, they will lead millions to destruction. The prophecies concerning the end times are upon us, and they are coming to pass so rapidly, my very foundations are being shaken, yet there are so few aware of how dreadfully close we are to seeing the fullfillment of all that was written. Please pray, read your bible, and ask God to give you ears to hear, and eyes to see, and a heart and mind that will respond to the nearness of his coming!!!! We must seek him while he can still be found, for tomorrow may be forever too late!!!!
@creamone Nonsense. Bye.

@booboobear1701 Typical apologists don't try to redefine the meaning of Cult. It is what it is. All religions are cults. As for Josh McDowell he's book maybe convincing to you faithfull but they are countless Christian converts to atheism or deism as well who have written books. In his book McDowell is saying that the gospel of John is the original apostle to Jesus. Red flags already. Can't be taken seriously. Scholarly consensus John was last gospel written. See ya Cult leader.

@creamone By that definition, all religions are cults, so the term becomes useless. Anyway, I have chosen wisely. Read this book by a former atheist, Josh McDowell: "The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict," and you'll see why.

@booboobear1701 Christians are no different from Pagans who were infighting themselves thousands of years ago. Competing who has the best religion, who has the best and true God. Islamic faith fights among there different sects also. The Jews also have there different sects and they have there beefs. The list goes on with the different religions Hindu, Buddist, etc. All believe they are worshipping the 1 true God. Choose wisely my friend. LOL!

@creamone No, you won't be able to swim through the deadly waters to come - anyone without a life-raft will drown. Think Noah's Ark, and you'll get the picture. Christianity included Protestants, Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox. All others are either cults of Christianity, such as J.W.s and Mormons, or other religions entirely.
I'm a Protestant.

@booboobear1701 I can swim thank you. So you say the JW's are a cult. What cult, i mean what sect or denomination you belong too? Are you a Protestant? Is your brand of Christianity the true Christianity?

@creamone Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult - they aren't Christian. But I'll keep my crutch, which is actually a life-raft, and you can drown.

@booboobear1701 Jehovah Witnesses don't belive in hell, 1 example of many. It's more than cosmetic buddy when everyone seems to interpret the bible differently and everyone cherry picks passages they like & disregard other passages. You guys aren't being honest by looking at the total body of work of the bible. It is flawed and no longer serves any purpose in society. It is used as a crutch for weak minded people that can't function in this cold hearted world without it.

@creamone No, you're confused. The differences between the denominations you mentioned are very small, often cosmetic. What you do not take into account, perhaps because you're not trying to be honest here, is the difference between primary and secondary doctrine. The differences in the denominations involve, at best, secondary doctrine, and are often even less important than that. Really, they don't matter much. So your point is irrelevant.
