I remember when people were saying STP sounded too much like Pearl Jam and they would never make it, I laughed and said just wait Scott has a Chameleon voice and can sing most anything...He used to like listening to the Beatles a lot but Funk was the start for sure play that funky music white boy Duran Duran covers lots of funk back in the day 86-89 Huntington Beach. I was laughing when the press was saying they were from San Diego that was just to separate from the Seattle grunge location .

Scott Weiland really did this song :) He was gonna sing this with Velvet Revolver :)~ but I dont think Funk and Hard Rock mix well
