That was Breck black, which means a blue run anywhere else. Their blues are more green, etc. Breck rates slopes tougher than they are so that tourists & such think they're better than they are. Breck coddles on blues & blacks, but the hike-up double blacks & off Imperial are good. A-basin, Loveland & Vasquez Cirque have good single black diamonds. Ski the single black diamonds there, then tell me Little Johnny's is a black diamond run. You too Breck...
