I loved John Denver's music. This was my favorite song of his. My wife and I danced to Annie's Song at our wedding. I get very emotional when I hear him sing. He touches my heart with all his music. Thank you for sharing your short life with us John. God bless you.

@bananniann me too, my friend. everytime I see him on the screen, I cry many tears... Everyone that likes John Denver so much like us always cry for him. I guess it's because he was like part of our family when he was on Earth. Losing him was like losing a brother, a father. I feel as If I had lost one of my best friends, you know, this is what I feel. He was not a star, he was the Moon!

I was a child when I heard John Denver for the first time and he conquered my heart immediately. That was long time ago in Brazil, when I could not say a word in English yet. however, I understood him completely. He had that talent of conquering us with his voice, his smile and his beautiful eyes. He was a gifted mam. I just can't understand why people come here to say they don't like him. Maybe because they don't like sincerity. Jonh Denver had a soul as clear as chrystal.

After John's death Annie was asked by Bryant Gumble if "Annie's Song" was her favorite of all John's music; and she said no, that it was "Perhaps Love" the version w/ Placido Domingo, that speaks volumes for this song.
