  • Runs cleaner now. I noticed a few misfires in the last video but it seems to run better now. Any adjustments? Is it a 600cfm Performer (carb)?

  • @Formula400Pontiac This is a 750 cfm Performer 1407 and in the last video the carb was flooding and the accelerator pump was not set correctly.

  • 750 you say... That should definitively be enough it on a milder tuned engine. Have an old beaten up Holley double pumper on mine (650cfm) but it misfires when accelerating. I think about going for a new carb or a EFI replacement. Was there any need of replacing the stock jets on your 1407 to get the engine run properly?

Here is a video request if you wouldn't mind: Closeup around the engine focusing on how all the vacuum lines are arranged. :)
