I wonder if the cast & staff knew that this was going to be the final episode of the series. If they did, the script and production really doesn't seem to reflect it.

thats a good question but thats how some series are. But I thought when they used Unending Love for the last song for the episode, I thought it was a good way to end the series.

True.... "Unending Love" was a great way to close the series.

If I had to guess, I would say that Peter, Hanneke & the others did not know that this would be the end.

Archived copies of the Colby's Clubhouse listing in Wikipedia suggest that the series may have ended with a "flashback" episode (similar to the Birthday episode from Season #1).

I haven't found any other references to it and I don't know if I should send Hanneke an Email and ask her if a true finale was ever recorded.

yeah but people said there was an episode with an flashback but I emailed Hanneke Jacobs like a month ago and she said that wasn't true. She said there was no flashback episode and said originally the series finale was supposed to be the episode Dealing With Bigots after they learned the show was going to be canceled. But then they decided to do 2 more episodes. which was the Easter Show and Brittany Finds A Dog.

The reason(s) have never been mentioned, but programs that featured a cast of kids fell out of favor starting around 2000.

That type of program is labor intensive and tends to show its age quite readily (clothing & hair styles for example). Back in the 90's the idea of a talking computer was big. But today's tech-savvy kids would probably shrug their shoulders and yawn.

I would wake up at 5am JUST to watch this show!! I loved it soo so much. I cried when it stopped coming on.. This show actually helped me get in church, because it made me want to go. Thank you so much for posting this. Such great memories that are still touching my heart at the age of 25. <3

How I found out about the information on Krysta was through a recent wikipedia article on her. Although she could also be in commercials as well as that TV movie (still in production). That how good she is.
