great version of the song,,, i like r williams also,, but almost everything david sings is great...

Problem wt American Idol mixers who do the background music, they are wrong match for David's voice. They are so in love wt their type of accompaniment, they don't understand that less embellishment is better, so we can really hear and enjoy David's pure voice. When I heard many of the studio version after the AI show performance, I was annoyed wt the AI mixers. I actually wanted to fire them. Too bad they couldn't use that superb AI show guitarist for David's Imagine. Album is great.
