@ryanmcl0vin It would have had offsides if I had had my way.

That would have been a beautiful highlight goal at 4:26, had that went in. Quick reflexes. Passing it off the second before you know the goalie's gonna cream ya

It's a good tactic for when you're sure that the opponent will try for a manual goalie save, even if they don't dive at you, because your player will usually be able to score the one-timer (as opposed to what happened in this video) and your opponent won't know how to stop it.

oh man, the goal at 2:55 by Adam Oates.. that is just classic NHL 94! The goalie dives, pokechecking the puck away from the player, but the player presses the C (shoot/check) button just after the puck is lost, causing him to check the goalie and the puck into the net! Brings a tear to my eye.
And then the botched pass and weird onetimer to break the glass at 5:25, all the way from the red line!

Yeah, that's pretty much how the puck got into the net on Oates's goal. As far as the other play you mentioned, it was just weird. I was trying to have the winger charge to grab the puck but the game decided to have him shoot the one-timer instead, and then once he took out the glass, I knew it had to go into the video.
