@romero2k Roger Penske is a joke, he did the same thing with Will Power last season. Just cause Marlboro wouldn't sponsor a third entry he refused to have Power run the full season, even though he has plenty of cash to do so, he knew Power is a great talent and would thicken the grid, and he more than had the resources to do it. The guy's worth 3 bil and acts like cheapskate. Nothing worse than a rich cheap guy.

@IRLIndyCar Danny was let go because Phillip Morris Tobacco was the exclusive sponsor of Penske racing & they told Roger they were only going to sponsor two cars in 1991. Emmo was the most recent champion & had Marlboro backing prior to racing with Penske & Rick had longevity with the team so Danny was odd man out. I know it sucks, I wish they could've worked something out...

I guess since Rick ran out of fuel, and Michael got 3rd place back from him, no penalty was needed!

Rick Mears at the finish lost the position to Michael. A year later at the Marlboro Challenge the same happened to him cost him the Challenge to the same guy Michael Andretti.
