Here's the last 10 minutes of the 1990 Indy car race at Laguna Seca. Danny Sullivan won the race, his last drive with Penske Racing. You'll see some great racing in this classic clip from such Indy car legends as Sullivan (1st), Al Unser, Jr. (2nd), Michael Andretti (3rd), and Rick Mears (4th). Enjoy!

  • u know what, who was Rick's fuel guy in the 80's cause that fuckin guy sucked. he cost Rick alot of good finishes & a few wins...

  • @romero2k Roger Penske is a joke, he did the same thing with Will Power last season. Just cause Marlboro wouldn't sponsor a third entry he refused to have Power run the full season, even though he has plenty of cash to do so, he knew Power is a great talent and would thicken the grid, and he more than had the resources to do it. The guy's worth 3 bil and acts like cheapskate. Nothing worse than a rich cheap guy.

  • 200 im kreis! xd

  • great bud light commercial with George Strait...

  • @IRLIndyCar Danny was let go because Phillip Morris Tobacco was the exclusive sponsor of Penske racing & they told Roger they were only going to sponsor two cars in 1991. Emmo was the most recent champion & had Marlboro backing prior to racing with Penske & Rick had longevity with the team so Danny was odd man out. I know it sucks, I wish they could've worked something out...

  • Michael's hands were quick on the wheel coming to the checkers!

I guess since Rick ran out of fuel, and Michael got 3rd place back from him, no penalty was needed!

  • Leaving Penske was the beginning of the end for Danny's career. I wish Roger would have kept him one more year to see what would have happened...

  • ROFL!!!!

Rick Mears at the finish lost the position to Michael. A year later at the Marlboro Challenge the same happened to him cost him the Challenge to the same guy Michael Andretti.

  • Rick Past Under Yellow
