I love the 70s FJ40. But Toyota does not make an FJ40US now and Jeep still makes the Wrangler. Comment back when you are comparing apples to apples (Modern Wrangler to Modern FJ40)

Wow, that is quite a guarantee paitence. Since Toyota warrants the fj's powertrain for 60 months/60,000 miles, against jeeps lifetime powertrain warranty. So, maybe you should explain why your guarantees are more important than the manufactures'. Oh, and about wheelbase (do you even know what that affects?) and ground clearance: I'll consider that as soon as you show me a fj with 4 full doors, 38" tires, and a comparable project total cost. i guarantee an FJ will outlast and outperform that american made piece of garbage. the unlimited has a 125+inch wheelbase compared to the fj's 105. the fj has more clearance too. .8 inches to be exact. jeeps are like tampons. they are for pussys.
