calm down everybody, the main reason why that puppy is biting is because it is teething, though it would be better to use a chew toy, so the puppy learns that is what it is suppose to bite.

my chi's like that too..even if it's not play time..she bites my hands all the time..it's killing me! when she was 1month old..it was all cute..but now she bites hard and it hurts..what should i do? help..

Also play fighting with your dog builds up good self-esteem and stamina(for them). They need to learn life's not about kisses and a big hug. Just like any other animal, including humans. People who say otherwise, what are you the queens/kings of know nothing! PLAY AND FIGHT ARE DIFFERENT, BUT BOTH SUBJECTS TEACH A LIFE LESSON! No matter the breed/species.
