OH! This is where this song originated! I knew it by The Castaways all these years (Liar Liar). This is delicious - thank you!

I happened to recognize co-writer Larry Weiss' name. 6 years later he would write Glen Campbell's signature hit 'Rhinestone Cowboy'. The arrangement of this song sounds very similar ti what would become 'Rhinestone Cowboy'.

@Decristo0372 Ronnie did write something so maybe Wendy will release it or better yet, write Ronnie's bio using her memories and his material.
Yes, Dio has transcended over 50 years and multiple genres of music and I love everything he's ever done.
You can still get the Elf albums on amazon. Older stuff is on vinyl and you can find it on ebay but it's like +100$. There's also this website PADAVONAdotCOM which has quite a lot of old Ronnie material, check it out. And there's always Google. ;)
I have been looking for this record for years. My son who is 36 only knows his heavy metal music, but I grew up in Cortland, N.Y. where Ronnie did. In fact my wife of 42 years and I met at a dance in the basement of St. Anthony's Church, when his band was Ronnie Dio and The Prophet's. In the 90's we went to see "DIO" in Rochester. What a voice. He will be missed by many. I have been battling cancer since 2006. Let's all pray for a cure in our lifetime. Ronnie deserved more years with loved ones

@Decristo0372 Ronnie James Dio is connected to everyone worth mentioning! For example, Ronnie did a cover of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" a song by Tony Bennett that was very popular thanks to Frank Sinatra amongst others. ;)
