I keep patting on the tissue to remove any bubbles and also to remove the soot at the bottom of the spoon. This ensures that you dont get any bubble or soot on the seal.
Yeah an alcohol lamo with blue fame would work better. That would eliminate the soot problem.
I prefer working with beads since you get to have maximum control on how the impression would look like.
