This may sound morbid but dying is the good bit staying alive and suffering in serious pain the whole of your life is no joke i love life and big family and are happy unbeknown to them when uyou get a flare up i asked my to shoot me the pain is that bad

u may not die from chrons...but you sure can die from all the diseases and cancers chrons can give you! you could also die from any infections in your digestive system because of chrona

@jaymee5153 This is so true. I think I had my worst flare up last night and during it I just wanted to run, grab a gun, and shoot myself to stop the pain.

Crohns may not kill you but I will tell you sometimes when you have a bad flare up you friggin feel like you're dying! Horrible sometimes justvsux!

Well, my poor mom didn't die from her Crohn's disease. No, after suffering from that for 17 years from the time she was 50, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We lost her within 4 months after an unsuccessful operation to attempt to remove the soccer ball sized tumor from her abdomen. Chemo didn't work or slow down the growth at all, and she suffered horribly. To top it all off to develop deep bed sores while in the hospital just wasting away. I hope I die in my sleep.

@marcusfrickerling i spent nearly 4 years taking above the maximum dose of codiene prosphate, its recommemded that you dont take it for more then 2 weeks due to long term effects but at the time it was the only thing that worked.

I got Crohns when i was 10. Im 15 now. I have had it pretty bad and it affects my grades and my ability to play sports. I have to have surgery soon to remove sections of my intestines. It sucks..everyone who has it GOOD LUCK!!
