Dave (Jay Baruchel) is just an average college student, or so it appears, until the sorcerer Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) recruits him as his reluctant protégé and gives him a crash course in the art and science of magic. it's weird, this scene is a bit different in the movie. In the movie, Drake Stone says TAKE THE RING OFF, it doesnt help me, but here it looks like the line got cut. Weird. But all the same I love this scene :) Drake always cracks me up.
