Over a weekend in May 2007, the Institute for Infinitely Small Things set out to research insecurity in Chicago's public places using unmarked packages. They ceremoniously carried over a hundred white packages (each marked "UNMARKED PACKAGE") to different neighborhoods in Chicago and set them up in locations where people feel insecure. These included: the South Side, Daley Plaza, Thompson Center, Millennium Park, Little Village, Douglas Park and Hyde Park. At each temporary installation of unmarked packages, the Institute polled members of the public about insecurity, fear, and anxiety in relation to both the unmarked packages and other possible threats to public safety. The nine-minute video showcases the results of this weekend's research.
Brilliant! Shame you couldn't actually use 'unmarked boxes.'

This was awesome. I can't believe the stupidity of people, and how many people are this stupid. Why is anyone more afraid after 911?
And why doesn't anyone notice that their own government and private companies are intentionally spreading more fear then the original bloody terrorists?
911 did not change your chance of being blown up, all it did was kill a lot of people. Which is a HUGE deal. But has nothing to do with you dying, unless you were there during.
