I'm just waiting on some buttons and a new plexi before I get stuck in.
This is seriously the best and most straight forward to the point tut I've been able to find!!!

I was wondering, I have a Wireless Hori FS3, which I bought because it was cheap and I'm going to mod the crap out of it. I wanted to know if I could install this to make a it a wired controller? The wireless lags sometimes.

To install this does it have to be a madcatz te stick or could you do it to any ps3 stick?

@jellgeta In theory this works with any stick as its just the PCB, which all sticks have. All you really need are cables that go to each bit. There is support for more than 1 type of stick. the benefit of this unit having this mod is the black rail that collects all the cables from the buttons, and gives you 2 handy grounds as outputs. this gives you 10 cables (8 buttons + 2 grounds) not 16 (a live and ground per cable). That'd take some work i think... But doable, im sure!
