yeah but there are plenty of good scrum-halves in SA: hougaard, du preez and mcleod too

Yeah I agree Hougaard is brilliant - they have a different game, Pienaar is a more classical scrumhalf and Hougaard has the surprise factor... Either one of them will be great. I just hope Fourie Du Preez is not playing again, we need new blood.

what about mcleod of sharks? he deserves a chance in a Test match. Also Sarel Pretorius was great but in Australia he has few space coz B.Barnes can't kick now and they have to put a n.9 with goal kicking skills

The commentator was saying the try was Hurley's fault but it wasn't, he did the right thing in showing gilroy inside cause earls should've had him but Jones took earls out when he missed the tackle, Zebos tackle was brutal as well

(cont.) Because Pretorius is now in Australia, I think that he must prove himself - yet again - overseas and be better than the local number 9's. And with our depth I dont think tht will happen soon unfortuantely. Mychoice would be Pienaar - he was wasted in the Bok squad for so long - and my second choice will be Hougaard.

Meyer can choose from a great group of 9's.... Hopefully he.and his Bulls coaches don't make a Bulls team.

Mcleod is also good, but to be honest I think Hougaard is playing better than him now. In South Africa the best scrumhalf at the moment is Hougaard, then Mcleod, then the Stormers number 9. If you look at Pienaar he is the whole package, but not as inventive as Hougaard. Heyneke Meyer is the coach and I think he will choose Hougaard and Mcleod will be the backup. Pretorius is an unlucky player in SA – he played extremely well for so long – better than Mcleod I feel and he never got chosen.
