  • A lot of people believe that Arnie came to Boston and became a DJ. Absolutely false. Our Arnie Ginsberg(one of the best DJ's Ever). Retired several years ago after many years in Boston radio. Now lives up north in NH or Maine. They are two separate people.

  • Jan and Arnie not Dean had great Distribution for Jenny Lee. Tender was Dist. by Dot. how much better do you get even in those days. They made it to Billboard #8. Also they had competition from a cover by Billy Ward and the Dominoes on Liberty whose version did not chart but did get a lot of radio play.

  • @mrderekevan You are absolutely right! Dean has nothing to do with it. I was able to contact Arnie and he says: Dean only came into the picture when I wanted out of the business and Jan wanted a new partner. Only few people on earth know the truth.

I am surprised how do you know it.

  • It's pretty much been established that Jan Berry and Arnie Ginsburg were both definitely on the 1958 hit "Jennie Lee" as well as "I Love Linda". In fact, Arnie was the lead singer on those songs. Whats never been determined is whether or not Dean was on any of those "Jan & Arnie" hits. Dean did claim that he sang on "Jennie Lee" but Jan said in interviews that Dean is not on the record and may not have even known about it. Then again, Jan's memory after the accident was sometimes questionable.

  • Better yet get a date for sat. night.

  • Dude rocket whatever everytime I watch this by mistake it creeps me out. You really need to be less creative. You keep this up and the cops are gonna stop over and see what else is down in that basement. Now I have to find the version that ain't so creepy.

  • very sad NOT! who cares? weirdo

  • It is Arnie on the '58 original. an & Dean re-cut in ,62 but it was only an album track.

  • My only sibling "Lynda," just died July 4. God how I followed my "big sister," around like a lost pup. She was "the" girl in my neighborhood...God I will miss my Lynda. Thanks so much for posting. Never have heard this....Twistin' in TEXAS....

  • DEAN went in the army and heard himself on the radio on that record thats how it was portayed in the movie Dead Mans Curve.
