Scientists at Stanford University and Lockheed Martin are playing pivotal roles in a nearly billion-dollar NASA mission to explore the sun. A spacecraft launched in early 2010 is obtaining IMAX-like images of the sun every second of the day, generating more data than any NASA mission in history. The data will allow researchers to learn about solar storms and other phenomena that can cause blackouts and harm astronauts.
well done nasa cool

@alonsodocYT 1: Waiting for it all to collapse so that nature returns to an equilibrium – its NOT about us, its about everything on the planet
2: Personally I am not affecting it at all, the SDO is scrutinizing it in a way never before via proxy
3: if you were to understand it, you certainly would not be thinking of fusion reactors but ways that we are in balance of nature, just look what we R doing to the earth - last 200 years!
I think you need 2 think about it a little more

@alonsodocYT
What are you doing about it?

@DumpYourTelevision
So ...
1)what ARE YOU DOING for the children future?
2)The sun is emiting, youre not affecting it because youre observing, in terms of the sun you can afect it more if you blow up towards it or think more about it.
3)If you UNDERTAND it, you can improve the lifes not only of children but all humankind, for example developing fusion reactors, more efficient solar cells, etc.
So think a little, that can really affect the sun and the earth en environment in wich you live...

Quantum physics states that when something is observed, it changes.
Some of the images are quite stunning of the sun, for me, a little too intimate.
Personally I think we should be looking at our selves and making the future of our children better and brighter than poking with things we cant control.
