Pete Rose was known as one of the meanest, toughest, hard nosed players in the history of baseball. This guy rammed a catcher in an exhibition game, even though it wasn't technically necessary. Why was he in so many commercials?

This is a good commercial because it has Pete Rose for some reason.

I remember when former Philadelphia Phillie John Kruk responded to a similar question why he was out of shape even if he played baseball. He said, "Lady I ain't an athlete, I'm a ballplayer." Don't forget about Babe Ruth, he didn't look like an athlete either but he is the best baseball player of all time.
