125 Years of cement technology. In 2007, FLSmidth is celebrating this landmark with a number of activities. They include the making of a short, yet impressive film which attempts to recapture some of the magic and engineering excellence involved in creating a successful cement production plant.
FLSmidth provides a complete range of products and services for the cement manufacture. But as a ship ready to be launched, the day on which the customer and FLSmidth light the kiln for the first time is a unique event. It is a celebration which regardless of country and culture demonstrates to the sorrounding world that the plant is completed and ready to fulfil its mission: producing cement clinker 24 hours a day.
