@73Stargazer that's the normal behavior, at first you have to select the source area (watch the messages on the status bar), you do this pressing the Ctrl key and clicking and then the destination area, with normal click/drag

I really want to follow this, but my gimp won't let me use my healing tool. it has the image of the bandages, but with a circle with a line through it attached, i can't use it. help?
