This event would not have been possible without the board-members help!

Thank you Rupa and Khanh (Co-Presidents) for their warm introduction, thank you Rupa and Satya for the delectable desserts! Thank you Leenah for getting beautiful programs created. Thank you Ami for getting coffee and tea logistics down, and for making this impulsive video too! And a special thank you to our non-KUMC friend (Aaditya) without whom this video wouldn't have been posted with music and all...

Heart-felt thank you's also go out to:
1. Our sister chapter at UMKC (Thanks for letting us use the banner!)
2. IAKUMC for letting us borrow a table-cover!
3. The amazing first-year students that came as our audience!!

MESSAGE FROM DR. DIETZ ABOUT THE "CARE" CLINICS (IN NEW ORLEANS AND IN KANSAS CITY, IN DECEMBER).

"Sheri and I have been summoned to New Orleans, LA next week to organize the National Association of Free Health Clinics Free Clinic Event at the New Orleans Convention center next week. This is quite an honor for us as it will be televised as part of the Dr. OZ show and on MSNBC. We will be seeing 2000 patient in one day their, and hopefully will be the largest free clinic event in the US. There are two more of these large CARE events, one in Little Rock and then the largest event of all here in Kansas City. The Kansas City Event will involve doctors, nurses, students and volunteers from both Kansas and Missouri and hope you and the other students will be involved (December 9 and 10 at Bartle Hall). Here is the national news story about it. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036677#33423088 please check it out!~

Info on the other events where students will be able to sign up to volunteer on www.freeclinics.us

As such, We unfortunately will not be able to attend your AMSA event next week. I sincerely apologize for the short notice, but it was unavoidable.

Please keep in touch and we would love to work with your student group on this and future ."
