@minkoss: your guts are unbelievable! Are you God or a stalinist dictator to stop her performance in Tosca? By the way, her performance in Tosca is ranked as one of the BEST ever. You are such an unhappy guy...feel sorry for you but you don't have to thank me for that.

I saw her as Violetta in Covent Garden in 1995, just before the start of her international fame. She is superb dramatically, visually and vocally (but no E-flat at the end of Sempre Libera). Now getting a bit old for full role credibility. I think she remains the best Violetta around. Dessay et al have small voices, second-rate singers like Netrebko do not even enter the discussion.
