Albino Tiger Oscar and Others eating Bloodworms

feeding time in the 45 gallon grow-out tank! Also, good news, i am getting another 55 gallon tank just for Oscar for my birthday in October! Im tihnking about putting the firemouths with him since they get along well but we'll see what happenes soon i will have two 55 gallon tanks to work with :)

Also in this video as i said it was weird the fish seemed nervous to eat in front of the camera lol usually they are dive for food but oh well there they are let me know what you think.

i fed my cichlids blood worms n 2 of them died n 1 of my cichlids is almost dieing

@insectsfairandmoreSA well what species of cichlids are you keeping? the fish in this video such as the oscar, firemouth, and blood parrot, are central and south american cichlids, and they are either carnivorous or omnivorous, and in the wild they have a lot of protein in their diet...(the blood worms are loaded with protein). If you are keeping african cichlid species (esspecially Mbunas) then bloodworms are a bad choice for them, 90% of their diet needs to be algae and plant matter.

thanks dude yeah Oscar is like 2 inches larger than the firemouth now and nearing very close to 6 inches but they still are getting along great. forget what I said in the description, instead of 55 gallon tanks, i have a 75 gallon tank on the way it's gonna be sweet
