@CrimsonGameboy Jhonen hates Gir because he originally wanted Gir to be a smart and evil sidekick for Zim. But Nick forced him to make Gir cute so that the show wouldn't be as dark. And Jhonen doesn't like creating cute characters anyway.

@chibinekodemon I believe Gir is better being all crazy and cute which drive anyone crazy. That is why I like him so much. I don't see whats not to like about his personality. It sounds pretty boring if Gir was too smart.
