Henry Ford and Randolph Diesel both had dreams of making and fueling their cars with hemp bio-fuels. Today we spend $300,000,000 a year importing oil let keep the jobs and money here.

bureaucracy at it's finest. Great nations have suffered from within always. just read history books (alas could printed on hemp paper which is way better than paper currently used BTW).
We need better elected officials honestly. More progressive thinking not entrenched old regressive individuals.
Elections are coming and seriously President Obama need to change the DEA leadership as this goes well with the green energy he campaigned on.

PhatH0tG33k: I know all that. I was addressing the government's expressed concern that hidden in amongst the hemp would be marijuana plants. I am simply stating that is a ridiculous concern given the relative quality differences between what would result under those growing conditions and others on the market.

Hemp is not the same thing as Marijuana. You can not get high off of Industrial Hemp. The term Hemp as become synonymous with Marijuana. However, Marijuana is a drug and Hemp is not.
