I used to have the same problem. But it turns out, that if you keep it at full throttle for about five minutes, you make the engine flame-out. I keep it about 75% throttle and it flys for a long period of time. Of course, you need full throttle for take off, but that's it. Once youre well off the ground bring it bqck a bit. This happened to me about thirty seconds after take-off from USAF Bentwaters. Last surprise I ever had before I landed in the North Sea.
