Daria Musk - Google+ Hangout at The Lincoln Memorial

In November, 2011 - I traveled to Washington DC to perform, and Hangout-in-person with G+niuses I know from my Google+ Hangout Concerts! One afternoon, Carter Gibson (friend and Google+ community fave), my producer RAM and I set out for the Lincoln Memorial, opened up our laptops and held the first-ever Hangout Concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial!

It was a global experience on both sides of the screen, with tourists from Spain, Austria and more gathering around us on the steps - and fans from Germany, Holland, the US and all over inside the Hangout itself!

I'm also posting this today in honor of President Obama's first Google+ Hangout taking place tonight! It's wild to know that some of us have been using this amazing platform for a just few months, experiencing life-changing moments, and now the head of our government is is about to hold one. I wonder if the butterflies are fluttering in his stomach the way mine were just before my first Hangout Concert! :-)
