I work on these from time to time. Theyre a Ford F450/550 chassis older ones had 6.0s and 6.4s, the new ones have 6.7s

@tim9355 Can an ordinary person walk into a gun store an buy a .308 sniper rifle? Or an AK47? AR15? semiautomatic 12 gauge shotgun? 50 cal pistol or 50 cal rifle? The answer is yes. Can an ordinary person lose control due to stress, getting fired, losing their house, divorce, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, become mentally ill and violent, etc etc.??? The answer is yes. So could SWAT police use this to save their life or rescue someone in the line of fire? Absolutely.

This is not overkill, it's perfect for SWAT members and the like. It'd be overkill if our local/federal enforcement decided to use military MRAP's for domestic use.
