The DHS has in place a goal of the complete militarization of all police forces in the US by November 2012 and the Bearcats are standard deployment to handle all of those not voting for obama.

  • I just dont get the idea of making a comercial for the vehichle, who is buying this ? Id have thought before it even went in to production there would be a contract having the government pay ten times its value

  • The Marauder rofl stomps this one

    watch?v=DHZAUnQeIVo&feature=related

  • the need to give these armored vehicles to border patrol so they can shoot down drug lords and Mexicans

  • I work on these from time to time. Theyre a Ford F450/550 chassis older ones had 6.0s and 6.4s, the new ones have 6.7s

  • Now all your donughts ae safe !!

  • @tim9355 Can an ordinary person walk into a gun store an buy a .308 sniper rifle? Or an AK47? AR15? semiautomatic 12 gauge shotgun? 50 cal pistol or 50 cal rifle? The answer is yes. Can an ordinary person lose control due to stress, getting fired, losing their house, divorce, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, become mentally ill and violent, etc etc.??? The answer is yes. So could SWAT police use this to save their life or rescue someone in the line of fire? Absolutely.

  • This is not overkill, it's perfect for SWAT members and the like. It'd be overkill if our local/federal enforcement decided to use military MRAP's for domestic use.

  • @carllos25

And before you say anything about the .50 cal, anyone who meets the requirements can own a .50cal machine gun in the United States.

  • @carllos25

There are many bad people in this country with a lot of fire power. Why can't the police have a vehicle to protect themselves? It's not like this thing has a cannon mounted on it.
