Reflections on the 2008 Campaign

October 9, 2008 panel discussion moderated by Julie Lythcott-Haims and featuring Professor David Brady and Professor Larry Diamond. Several questions are addressed by the panel, including: Is the 2008 election historic? What does the campaign say about the state of our democracy and the political polarization of the U.S.? What can we learn from the current voter mobilization and how do elections--and this election in particular--influence civic participation?
