In this video, Laura Rogers demonstrates how, in SharePoint 2010, you can display a document library from a subsite on another (the top level) site in the same site collection.
Hi Laura - That was great - I have 2010 foundation and it was just what I needed - One library shared over a number of sites. Thank you for your effort.
Great how-to video! I watched the other one on the DVWP vs. XSLT List View WP, too. Very easy to follow and informative! Can you please, please make more of these?! :)
Thx Laura! Though it seems, there is a problem with the solution: every time you click on the root document library or on the title of the webpart we run into an error (unexpected error and error id). Is there a fix for that?
I was looking for this for long time thanks

Now if only we can get this work for other subsites rather than just the top level. Get on it MS chop, chop!
