President Obama tells the American people about a series of steps he's taken without the help of Congress to grow the economy and create jobs -- including a new strategy aimed at boosting tourism introduced this week. In next week's State of the Union Address, the President will outline his blueprint for creating an economy built to last.

  • @ipodhugger007 Careful now, you might wind up indefinitely detained. Closing Guantanamo Bay was another broken promise, from a failed man.

  • @ZigZagzGoon He dug the whole even deeper!!! 9T when he took office. He promised to cut it in half. He is now at 15.4T and will go above 17T BEFORE the election. That is why he will be a one term prez.

  • In other news, this clown is doing jack shit about spiking gas prices. Oh who am I kidding, he LOVES spiking gas prices, they're making all his buddies rich! What a muppet...

  • @ZigZagzGoon Sounds more like you have been reading the Media Matters talking points again. You should try reading assorted news sources. Obama has lost 1.7 million jobs. Look it up on the internet.

  • @TheYoungTurdz You have been watching too much Fox News. Jobs still going down after he took office because of Bush's policies. After about 2 years jobs started being created and denying that is just lying to yourself, look it up on the internet.

  • @ZigZagzGoon ??? He LOST 1.7 million jobs. Just because a person rolls off the UI list, doesn't mean that jobs are being created!! Fool! Nothing new here. Wait till you see the cook the books numbers the dnc has planned for this summer!!! Counting intern, non paying jobs as actual jobs.

    Hysterical.

  • @TheYoungTurdz He has created more jobs, and unemployment is going up. Do some research, unemployment has been dropping slowly since about 18 months after he took office when he successfully changed some of bush's policies. Denying this is denying fact. And you didn't answer my question, who do you think can help the economy?

  • @ZigZagzGoon Improved the economy? What kind of drugs are you on? Still drinking the Koolaid! Housing market is down even more, less jobs, unemployment running out and he has divided the country more than any other president resulting in fewer results. Nothing will improve, until after he is out in Nov. 2012. Then when the true recovery begins, you will want to give Obama credit. LOL. Funny, if it weren't so pathetic.

  • @TheYoungTurdz Obama has improved the economy, you can't say he hasn't without lying. One thing I do blame him for is making the abuse of civil liberties bipartisan, it used to just be republicans who wanted to start wars and kill U.S. citizens. Who do you think can be a good president, just wondering?

  • @ZigZagzGoon The only way we are heading into a huge economic boom is if Obama is shown the door. We are heading into a future of government dependency at all time highs coupled with a lost decade.

Obama has not improved anything buy the Democrat base by making it's voters more dependent, aka MORE FOOD STAMPS for your vote!

  • @TheYoungTurdz Also we have been in much more debt in relation to the national GDP and the last time we were it was right before a huge economic boom.
