Eli's Home Birth

My Son, Eli, born at home on July 23rd 2011 at 00:15, after being 8 days overdue and having 3 membrane sweeps! A fantastic experience, had a 2 hour labour with only gas&air and paracetmol for pain relief. Was almost 9cm dilated by the time the midwifw arrived, and she had only come to drop off the tens machine as i thought i was in for a "long one", but while there she said she'd have to examine me, and so ended up staying. A lovely midwife, completely fantastic! She delivered my daughter Ava too.
